Exploration management experience initially focused on exploration, appraisal and development drilling operations in the UKCS and Netherlands offshore. Geological and geophysical staffing, monitoring, data acquisition and post well studies from up to five mobile rigs were contracted coordinated and delivered. These included a variety of structural and stratigraphic plays in clastics and carbonates from aeolian and lacustrine to shallow and deeper water marine facies. Further experience was gained coordinating multi-well operations across a variety of plays in Egypt, Algeria and the UAE.

Technical and strategic exploration leadership experience was developed via team leading roles Europe-Africa new ventures at Arco and the UK CNS Business Unit at BP . Management of BPs mature UK/Faroes/Denmark exploration portfolio delivered a successful combination of targeted growth options with a multi-well farm-out programme. Moving into the BP Global Access Team,  roles were taken leading the Turkmenistan country access project,  the multi-disciplinary and virtual Global New Geographies and Global Gas Projects.  Frontier exploration management experience was gained leading Namibian and South African exploration and new ventures effort.
