Field Experience

Continued professional development subscribes to the broad mantra that the best geologists have seen the most rocks.
Every opportunity has been taken to observe and integrate field relations and appreciate sample to well log to seismic and basin scale. More recent work in the Middle East and Africa has increasingly utilised remote sensing data to access areas inaccessible due to security, political and/or geographically isolated regions.
Field trip planning and leadership experience includes excursions to Skye, Helmsdale, Yorkshire and Edinburgh regions in the UK and the Lusitanian Basin in Portugal. These were usually as joint leader focusing on HSSE, team building, regional and reservoir geology and prospectivity.
